"CWRU presents to Cleveland City Council on Health initiatives"
The Prevention Research Center and other Case Western Reserve University health initiatives presented an overview of their efforts to improve the health of northeast Ohioans to Cleveland City Council on May 2, 2011. Elaine Borawski, Co-Director of the PRCHN and Jessica Kelley-Moore, Principal Investigator of FreshLInk (PRCHN's core project) both spoke about the work the PRCHN is doing in local neighborhoods. They also included information about data resources the PRCHN could provide to help the new Healthy Cleveland Initiative recently put forth by the city.

The PRCHN's Survey Development Lab is one of three entities merging as part of this project.

PRCHN Associate Director Dr. Trapl had this letter to the editor published in Cleveland's main newspaper in response to an article it had run about tobacco use in Cuyahoga County. Dr. Trapl's response draws attention to the PRCHN as a resource for valuable BRFSS data on behavioral risk factors in the local population.
