Training

A key component of the Center is to train a wide range of individuals how to conduct community-based participatory research as it relates to health promotion and disease prevention.  As the Center becomes fully-functional, we will offer a variety of training services to faculty, students, and community members.  Methods of training will include: field training, mentoring, seminars, and workshops.

The Brown Bag/Seminar Series also falls under the auspices of Training at the PRCHN.  Initially conceived as two separate events, one (Brown Bag Series) of which would bring local public health or chronic disease experts to speak at the center and the other (Seminar Series) to bring national public health/chronic disease speakers/presentations to the PRC.  The two have been recently combined, and will now be know as the PRC Seminar Series.

Please contact Jackie Matloub at jmm281@case.edu if you are interested in any of these types of training, and we can let you know what is presently being offered and/or will keep you in mind once the training that meets your interest becomes available.
