The mission of the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods is to foster partnerships within urban neighborhoods to develop, test, and implement effective, scalable, and sustainable strategies to prevent and reduce the burden of chronic disease.
Our projects reflect this mission through their involvement of neighborhood residents, leaders, and community organizations with the goal of addressing significant environmental and lifestyle issues that serve as barriers to good health.
