Needs Assessment Survey of Cleveland Area Residents Who Use Food Pantries
This research study to understand health and social needs of community members in the Greater Cleveland area who visit food pantries. Researchers at Case Western Reserve University are conducting this study in partnership with the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland. The survey will be confidential and can be completed over the phone or online. Below is the study criteria:
- Any, 18 years or older
- Visited a food pantry in the past year
- Cuyahoga County Resident

The effect of COVID-19 and other barriers to following a low-sodium diet among African American women with Hypertension
Our colleagues at Ursuline College are seeking African American women with diagnosed hypertension to participate in this study. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of COVID-19 and other barriers on African American women’s low-sodium dietary practices. Participants will be asked to take part in one 90-minute focus group (held online) and complete 3 surveys. Participants will receive a $30.00 gift card at the completion of focus group session and surveys. Below is the study criteria:
- African American Women, 18 years or older
- Diagnosed Hypertension
- Greater Cleveland Area
